Editorial policy
How we research, review and correct.
We sell the product we write about, so we hold ourselves to a written editorial policy. Here it is.
Our relationship to the product
We sell Spicy Cubes through satiovex.com. Every guide on this site is therefore written by a seller. We say so on the pages where it matters and we link to our shop only where it is honestly relevant. Our about page says who runs this site.
Conflicts of interest
We make money when you buy Spicy Cubes. That is a conflict of interest and can tilt our judgment unnoticed. Our independent seller notice explains where we stand. To limit the bias, every health sentence stays tied to a source, and we say what we lack: we do not yet hold an independent batch report.
Sources
Health and ingredient statements come from primary sources we open and cite: regulators such as the FDA, national health bodies such as the NIH National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, and peer-reviewed research. We state how strong the evidence is. When we find no good human evidence we write that plainly.
What counts as a primary source
A primary source is where a finding or rule begins: a regulator's page, a health body, a published study or a product label. We read it ourselves, not a summary of it. Marketing pages are not sources, including our own product page, other sellers' pages and influencer posts. We may report what a seller says, labelled as a claim, but we do not repeat it as a fact about our gummies (see how to check any gummy seller).
How we grade evidence
Under our editorial policy, each health, safety or ingredient sentence has a working note with its source and a grade. The grade measures the evidence, not the product.
- Strong: consistent results from well-run human studies, or a statement from a regulator or health body we have read.
- Moderate: human studies that are small or mixed, or one good study nobody has repeated.
- Weak: laboratory or animal work, traditional use or tiny human trials: a question is open, not answered.
- None: nothing we can cite. A sentence about the body with this grade is deleted.
A grade belongs to one claim, not a whole page, and we do not borrow evidence from another product or dose. When evidence is missing, we say so, as in our guide to whether Spicy Cubes work.
What we will not claim
We do not make claims about sexual function, hormones, mood, weight or disease, and we do not use words such as aphrodisiac or clinically proven. Safety information (for example, who should ask a professional first) is not a claim about the product.
Review
Our aim is for pages on safety, interactions, pregnancy and effectiveness to be reviewed by a named, qualified professional, with the reviewer, their credentials and the review date shown on the page. Until a reviewer is named, each page carries the line: This page has not yet been reviewed by a licensed professional. Pages that need a reviewer keep that line until one signs off.
Our editorial policy on updates and corrections
Each page shows when it was last updated. If you find an error, email contact@satiovex.com with the page address and what is wrong, or use the contact page. We reply within 1 to 2 business days, correct confirmed errors promptly and note material corrections on the page.
How corrections are logged and dated
We record each error report in a correction log: the page, what was reported, the source we checked, what we changed and the date. When a fix changes what a reader would understand, the page also gets a short dated note saying what was wrong and what it says now. Once a page is published, we do not quietly change a health or safety statement.
What last updated means
The date on each page is the day we last changed what it says or re-read its sources. It is not a review date, which will be shown separately.
When a source changes
Health bodies update their guidance, and papers are sometimes withdrawn. When we learn that a source we cite has changed, we re-read it and compare it with the page. If it no longer supports a sentence, we change or delete the sentence. If a cited paper is retracted, we remove the citation and anything that depended on it.
Reader reports and complaints
If a page claims more than its sources support, or you think we broke this editorial policy, tell us the page and sentence using the contact details above. We reply with what we checked and either change the page or explain why not. Health and safety wording comes first, and we do not hide criticism.
What we will never do
We will never:
- write, buy or edit reviews, ratings or testimonials;
- use countdown timers, invented stock levels or other false urgency;
- use an affiliate link without saying so next to the link;
- show a lab result, badge or certificate we do not hold.
