What are Spicy Cubes for couples? A plain-English guide

Spicy Cubes for couples (also searched as spicy gummies for couples) is a search phrase for chewable botanical gummies sold to adults 18 and over. The ones we sell, as an independent seller, contain chili pepper, maca root and a plant blend, and the pack directs one gummy a day. “For couples” is a marketing phrase, not a medical category, and we make no claim that any gummy, ours included, changes anything between two people.

What does “for couples” mean on a gummy label?

It describes who a seller hopes will buy the product. It does not describe what is inside or what the product does. In the United States the FDA does not have the authority to approve dietary supplements before they are marketed, and it generally does not approve supplement claims or other labeling before use. Wording on the front of a pack is usually a sales choice, not a regulator’s verdict.

Spicy Cubes is also a product name used by more than one seller, so “Spicy Cubes for couples” can point to different products. We are an independent seller (Xinop LLC, trading as Satiovex), and this page covers the gummy we sell. See what the Spicy Cubes name covers and who we are and who we are not.

What is in Spicy Cubes? The label, per gummy

One gummy weighs 3 g and a pouch holds 30. Per gummy, the Supplement Facts we hold list chili pepper 30 mg, maca root 50 mg and an 810 mg proprietary blend of muira puama (6:1), epimedium (10:1), maca (4:1) and ginger (4:1) extracts, given as one combined amount. One gummy is 20 kcal. The pouch you receive is the final word: if it differs from this page, the pouch is correct.

The label amounts per gummy are explained line by line in our ingredients guide. Our offer page shows the packs and prices: one 30-gummy pouch is USD 34.99, and larger packs lower the price per pouch (USD, local currency at checkout).

Are all Spicy Cubes the same?

Not necessarily. A shared name does not mean a shared formula, pack size or return policy, so check the Supplement Facts of any product you consider and ask any seller for the documents you want. Our guide Is Spicy Cubes real or legit? gives seven checks for any seller, us included.

What do sellers promise couples, and what is documented?

Pages that sell gummies “for couples” may make promises like the ones below. Here is each one set against what is documented. Our checklist for reading any gummy label covers several of the same promises.

    Promise you may see

    What is documented

    What we say

A fast or lasting effect, with a time to take it

We know of no published study of this gummy, so no timing or duration is documented

No timing claim: follow the pack

    Plant-based ingredients

Plant-based is not a safety result: NCCIH says “natural” does not always mean “safe”, and Memorial Sloan Kettering lists cautions for maca, epimedium and ginger

Ask first if one applies to you

A happier relationship or a better mood

No study of this gummy that we know of

    We make no such claim

    “FDA-registered” or similar wording

Facilities that make, process, pack or hold supplements for US consumption must register with the FDA, but the FDA does not approve supplements before they are marketed

We do not use that wording

    A clean lab result

A lab claim with no named lab and batch tells you little

We do not yet hold an independent batch report

So do Spicy Cubes work for couples? We cannot say that they do, and we are not aware of a published study of this finished gummy. For what research on each plant does and does not cover, read whether Spicy Cubes work.

We sell Spicy Cubes as a food supplement, not a medicine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If your health or your relationship worries you, start with a doctor, a pharmacist or a qualified counsellor, not a supplement.

How do couples take Spicy Cubes? Serving, timing and how many

Each adult decides for themselves, and one of you can take a gummy while the other does not. The pack we sell directs one gummy a day, at the start of the day, for each adult who takes it.

If you both take one, that is two gummies a day and a 30-gummy pouch lasts about 15 days. Do not exceed the stated serving, split one gummy between two people or take extra to match a partner. If your pack says something different, the pack wins.

You may see timing instructions on other pages. We are not aware of a published study of this gummy, so we make no timing claim.

Are Spicy Cubes safe to take together? Who should ask a doctor or pharmacist first

Whether they are safe for you depends on your health and medicines, which we cannot judge for you, and yours are not your partner’s. So each of you should check on your own. The FDA advises talking to a doctor, pharmacist or other health care professional before deciding to buy or use a dietary supplement. For example, it says, some supplements might interact with medicines or other supplements. Ask first in each of these cases:

    • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) says to talk to your healthcare provider about maca, and that ginger supplements should be avoided during pregnancy or lactation. NCCIH adds that many dietary supplements have not been tested in pregnant women or nursing mothers.
    • If you take nitrate, blood-pressure or diabetes medicines, or have a heart condition. MSK reports that maca increased the blood-pressure-lowering effect of a medicine in rats with high blood pressure, that ginger supplements may cause larger drops in glucose levels in people taking insulin or other glucose-lowering medicines, and that epimedium caused a rapid irregular heartbeat in a patient with heart disease. MSK says the clinical relevance of the first two is not known.
    • If you take blood thinners or have surgery planned. MSK says ginger supplements may increase the risk of bleeding in people taking warfarin or other blood thinners, and should be stopped 2 weeks before surgery.
    • If you have a hormone-sensitive cancer or take an aromatase inhibitor. MSK says people with hormone-sensitive cancer, such as breast or uterine cancer, should talk to their provider about maca, and that epimedium may reduce the effect of aromatase inhibitors. MSK says the clinical relevance of the aromatase-inhibitor point is not known.
    • If you have any other medical condition, or you are not sure.

    Why we mention nitrates

The FDA has warned about tainted honey-based products. Its laboratory testing found samples that contained drugs not listed on the label, including the active ingredients found in Viagra (sildenafil) and Cialis (tadalafil). These undeclared drugs may interact with nitrates in some prescription medicines, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. That warning is about other products and is not a finding about Spicy Cubes. A label cannot show what a maker left off it, and we do not yet hold an independent batch report, so we cannot offer lab proof. If you take a nitrate medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist before you use any supplement.

If you think a supplement has caused a harmful effect or illness, stop taking it and contact your health care provider right away. In the United States you or your provider can then report it through the Safety Reporting Portal, as explained in the FDA’s guide to reporting a problem. Our Spicy Cubes side effects guide lists each plant’s documented reactions, with sources.

How do you talk to your partner about Spicy Cubes? Consent and no pressure

    • Ask, do not assume. A no, or a decision to stop later, is a complete answer.
    • No pressure. Nobody should take a supplement to please a partner.
    • No hidden gummies. Never put one in someone’s food or drink without telling them.
    • Share the health facts. Tell each other about medicines and conditions, then each check with a professional.

The HHS Office on Women’s Health describes sexual coercion as unwanted sexual activity that follows nonphysical pressure, such as being worn down by repeated requests or threatened with the end of a relationship, and says that in a healthy relationship you never have to have sexual contact when you do not want to. A gummy changes none of that, and taking or offering one is never a yes.

If something about your sex life or your relationship worries you, talk to a doctor. MedlinePlus lists illness, medicines, stress and emotional problems among the possible factors in sexual problems, and advises seeing a health care provider if they last more than a few months or cause distress for you or your partner.

Can you mix Spicy Cubes into food or drinks, and how should you store them?

We have no information on how heating, melting or mixing changes a gummy, so we do not suggest it. Ask a pharmacist about any drink or medicine you take it with.

Keep the pouch out of reach of children and store it as the pack directs. The Up & Away campaign says pills can look like candy to young children, and to call Poison Help right away if you think a child might have got into a medicine, vitamin or supplement, even if you are not completely sure: 1-800-222-1222 in the United States. Elsewhere, call your local poison centre or emergency number.
